According to a recent magazine,
most people don't call dogs or cats
which don't have a master--
They are called " Area cats /dogs" or
"Street cats / dogs" recentry.

I guess they feel like real--
It seems more appropriate i think.

A while ago I was near the Setagaya Ward office,
I saw a big black cat going up the red slope while lookong back.
(I'm not sure why it was red)

He seemed to be a free sprit.
Seems to be thinking-----
"I don't have a care in the world"

He so cool!!! like James Dean.

One day someone said to me
" That's it!! I don't want to work any more.
I'd like to be "Street Play Boy" and cruise on GINZA
like a cool cat"

何かで読んだけど、最近は｢ノラ犬、ノラ猫」とは言わず、
「エリアキャット、エリアドッグ」
または「ストリートドッグ、ストリートキャット」と言うらしい。
何か、こう言うと市民権があるようで、
本人たちも安定した気持ちで街を歩けるかもね--

数年前の夏の夕方、
夕日が空をあかね色に染め上げた頃、
世田谷区役所近くの赤い坂道（なぜ赤いんだろう？）を
「オイラ、捨てるものは全部すてたわい！」とでも言いそうな、真っ黒で胴長な猫が、
右に左に、と振り返り振り返り、
ゆるゆると坂道を上がって行くのを見ました。

「あっ、こいつ、自分が絵になっていることを知っているな」と、
チョット　こしゃくに思ったものだ。
本当にきれいな図柄で、竹久夢路の版画のようだった。

そういえば、「あ--っ！！もう食いあげだ！！
ストリートハズバンドになりたい！！」
と、うなっていたひと、
その後、いかが？
食べていけているのかしら？？

僕たち 来年はどうなるの？？

大台に乗った今でも夏は大好きですが、子供の頃はもっと好きでした。
何が？？って？？
それは、畳に「大の字」になってする「おひるね」と「昆虫採集」。

早起きした日は、朝露で濡れた芝生をはだしで庭の端まで行き、
松の根元にしがみついている、カブトムシやクワガタを捕まえるのは最高！！。
----彼らはまだ眠いのか、深刻な顔をしていたっけ。

読売新聞のコラムによると、
カブトムシは例外もあるけど、寿命はわずか3-4ヶ月、
クワガタは越冬するので1年以上生きる物もいるという。

寿命の長短の違いは性格にもあらわれて、
短命のカブトやノコギリクワガタ、ミヤマクワガタなどは気が荒く、
メスの争奪戦では「今年の夏だけしかない！！」
--と、それはそれは激しい争いをするらしい。
一方、長寿のオオクワガタやコクワガタは「来年もあるさ--」、
----と、意外におおらかに暮らしているって。

聞くところによると男の一生で、　
「これで最後だ！！もう尽きた！」っていう時、
コロッと赤い玉が出るっていうじゃない？

We saw Summer off with a "See you again" / 夏を見送る

It was a great day.

To tell you the truth,
this is my first experience watching a live baseball match.
I looked at the people around me.

Also, there were many pretty girls
with beer tanks strapped to their backs,
wearing cute yellow mini-skirts and boots.
The girls come rushing to the customers
when they shout " Come and gimme a beer! "
They will use a hose attached to the tanks
and fill up their customers' cups to the brim.
Girls, you look like "Maya Bee !!" ( this is heroine of Japanese animation )

The grass, wet with rain, sparkled when showered by the blinding light,
making their beautiful green look freshly-bloomed in the night.

My cheek was caressed by the big and hot drops of rain,
causing so my heart to be wild.
I feel like a beer.

Under the night sky chopped- off in a huge circle,
in the midst of a thousand voices,
memories of Summer left me step-by-step,
--- leaving me far behind.

That night,
we saw Summer off, with a " See you again "
in an umbrella quietry.

行ってみました、
神宮球場・ヤクルト巨人戦。

実を言うと、野球見物は初めてなので、
どれもこれも珍しくて、キョロキョロしっぱなし。

パチパチの黄色いミニスカートにブーツ、
生ビールが入った丸いタンクを背中にしょって、
お客が「ビールくださぁーい！！」と叫ぶと、
ニコニコと駆け寄って行く、あの娘にこの娘。
タンクについている管で、シュワーッと紙コップに山盛り注いでくれる。

観客のとぎれのない、さざめきが、
球場を息をし、脈打つ巨大な生きた物のようにしている。

白いボールが時折夜空に打ち上げられ、
大きくゆるやかな弧を描き、
やがて歓声の渦に静かに吸い込まれて行く。

雨がふってきた。
ライトを浴びた芝生が、夜空に向かって立ち上がり、
生まれたてのみどり色になっていく。

わたしは大粒の暖かい雨に頬を打たれて、
そう、少しワイルドな気分になったみたい---。

円く切りぬいた夜空の下、
幾千の声の中で、
夏の思い出が、
陽に焼けた背中を見せながら、だんだん遠のいていく。

あの夜、わたしたち-----
傘の中からそっと、夏を見送ったね。
" See you again ---"
